Gongdi Trisha is running on the footsteps of Mithali Raj

U19 Womens T20 World Cup: Indian opener Gongdi Trisha, who became the first player to score a century in the current women’s T20 Under-19 World Cup, credited her ‘Adarsh’ and great cricketer Mithali Raj to impress her game.

On Tuesday, Trisha scored an unbeaten 110 off 53 balls, due to which India registered a stunning 150 -run win over Scotland. India scored a huge score of 208 runs for one wicket before scotland dismissed Scotland for just 58 runs in the Super Six match.

In a video posted by the Cricket Board of India (BCCI), Trisha, who played for Hyderabad, said, “I have grown up to see Mithali Di and I like it very much. I always wanted to do the same. She has always been my ideal. ,

Trisha had earlier scored 49 against Sri Lanka and 40 against Bangladesh. Regarding the century, he said, “Yes, this is really special for me. I wanted to score a century in the first match of the World Cup, but I got a second chance. ,
