Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University of UP has discovered medicine to treat brain cancer. It has been prepared for the treatment of brain cancer at the interdisciplinary brain research center of the Medicine Department of the Medicine Department of Lal Nehru Medical College. Researchers have succeeded in preparing it after several months of hard work.
Researchers have successfully completed the first phase trial. It has also been patented. This new compound ‘ARSH-Q’ developed in AMU has been provided with Indian patent. In the initial testing, this medicine has given excellent results to the researchers, after which its work is being completed rapidly.
Now chemotherapy will not be needed
Giving information, Dr. Mehdi Hayat Shahi of AMU said that this compound has prepared this compound by the Interdisciplinary Brain Research Center of the Medicine Department of JN Medical College and the Applied Chemistry Department together. It has been prepared after intensive research and testing. He said that ARSH-Q has shown extraordinary ability to prevent brain cancer cells. Especially those stem cells that are resistant to radiation and chemotherapy. This drug is more effective in recurring brain cancer and reducing mortality. This drug is going to be very beneficial for people suffering from brain cancer.
Researchers have been doing research on brain cancer since 2005
Dr. Mehdi Hayat Shahi, who plays an important role in finding brain cancer medicine, has been researching brain cancer since 2005. His team in Dr. Mushir Ahmed, Arif Ali, Mo. Muzammil, Basari and Swalih P. are included. Researchers aim to develop a drug that is more effective than current standard chemotherapy drugs, temperature. ARSH-Q has developed after continuous efforts.
Trial on animals
Dr. Mehdi Hayat Shahi, who prepared brain cancer medicine, said that the medicine has given much better results in the first phase of trial. In the second phase, this medicine will be tried on animals. First, the cell of brain cancer will be developed in animals, after which this medicine will be used. After the second phase of trial, this drug will be sent on a clinical trial for final trial. It will be given official permission after the third phase trial is successful. After getting the official permission to use the medicine for patients, it will be used on patients. Initially, they will be given medicines only after taking undertaking from patients. This is a very big achievement.
