Hamas, a militant organization of Palestine, has accepted a ceasefire’s proposal in Gaza on behalf of the US. The proposal was given by Trump’s Special Representative Steve Witchoff. This new proposal includes the release of 10 Israeli hostages and a 70 -day ceasefire.
According to Reuters, the proposal also includes the issue of release of several Palestinian prisoners from Israel, including hundreds of prisoners serving long sentences.
So far, Israel has not made any statement on this proposal.
Earlier, there was a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas on 19 January. However, two months later, on March 18, Israel broke it by attacking a missile at many places in Gaza.

70% buildings destroyed in Gaza
