It is believed that this assistant support staff is misusing the privileges. This person had access to the Field of Play (FOP) during the Indian Premier League. This person was seen roaming in the field after the matches wearing the franchise’s jersey. At the same time, BCCI members are not happy with this person being given more importance in Australia.
In the same report it was claimed that everything is not well within the Indian team. If we look at Gautam Gambhir’s support staff, it includes Morne Morkel, Ryan ten Deutsche and Abhishek Nair. He remains Gambhir’s assistant coach and T Dilip had reserved his place as the fielding coach. For now, it is difficult to say which member of the support staff is under question and who is this personal assistant?
A BCCI source quoted by PTI said that there is still one Test left in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. After that the Champions Trophy is also to be held.
