This case is from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, where a girl was shocked by Virat Kohli’s dismissal that she died on the spot. According to eyewitnesses, when Virat was dismissed by scoring only one run in the final, 14 -year -old Priyanshi fainted.
Deep shock of Virat Kohli being dismissed
According to a report published in NDTV, Priyanshi was watching the India-New Zealand final match with her family. Priyanshi’s father’s name is Ajay Pandey and he was all full of enthusiasm in support of Team India. When Virat Kohli was dismissed for 1 run in the final, Priyanshi fainted first and then he died on the spot due to a heart attack. The doctors confirmed that the cause of Priyanshi’s death was a heart attack.
Priyanshi’s father Ajay Pandey went to the market after the end of the first innings. When the second innings started, Priyanshi and other family members started enjoying the match. As soon as Ajay Pandey came to know the news of Priyanshi being unconscious through the phone, he came home fast and got the daughter admitted to the nearest hospital. 14 -year -old Priyanshi was declared dead after reaching the hospital. Ajay Pandey did not get his daughter’s post-mortem done. Priyanshi was cremated after returning home.
Cricket connection to death
Priyanshi’s father Ajay Pandey believes that his daughter has not died due to a cricket match. He clearly stated that there is no connection to the sudden death of cricket and his daughter. At the same time, one of his neighbors Amit Chandra said that when Priyanshi got a heart attack, the Indian team was not playing bad from any point of view and did not lose any wicket. Chandra even said that Virat Kohli had not come to batting at the time of Priyanshi’s health deteriorated.
