Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is on a four -day visit to America. Jaishankar attended the Quad Conference on Wednesday (July 2, 2025). During this time, he heard Pakistan very well from the global platform regarding the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
S Jaishankar has bluntly said that if there are such attacks in future, then India will not sit silent, a tough answer will be given. Jaishankar made this statement at a time when there is a significant talks between India and America on foreign policy. He clearly indicated that this message has been conveyed to Pakistan.
Jaishankar said – The world saw the solidarity of India
Speaking to reporters after a quad (Quad) meeting with the US, Japan and Australia’s foreign ministers at Washington DC, Jaishankar said that this time MPs of all parties took part in India’s global participation.
Describing it as the political diversity of India, he said that when leaders of various ideologies talk about India abroad in one voice, it sends a message of a strong national unity in the world. He mentioned leaders like Shashi Tharoor, Supriya Sule, Kanimoi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Jai Panda, Sanjay Jha, Salman Khurshid, Anil Sharma and Ghulam Nabi Azad, saying that they all together strengthen India’s image on the global stage.
Information given to Quad including America on Operation Sindoor
External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said that he discussed with all his quad counterparts about Operation Sindoor and India’s policy against terrorism. He said, we have been facing terrorism for many decades and now we have decided that the answer will be strictly given. We have full right to self -defense.
Jaishankar further said that the purpose of the action taken on May 7 was to give the message that if there was a terrorist attack on India, we will not only take action against the attackers but also their supporters and helpers.
