Rohit Sharma on Sam Konstas: The last Test match of the five-match Test series being played between India and Australia is being played in Sydney. On the first day of this test match, Indian fans got a big shock when Jasprit Bumrah was seen captaining the match in place of Rohit Sharma. That means Rohit is out of this test match.

With Rohit Sharma being out of the Sydney Test, talks also started rising whether he was going to retire from Test cricket because since September last year, Rohit has been struggling with poor form in Test cricket. Meanwhile, on the second day of the Sydney Test, Rohit Sharma was seen talking to Jatin Sapru and Irfan Pathan on Star Sports and after listening to their answers, everyone remembered the old Rohit Sharma.

What did Rohit Sharma say on Constas?

During the lunch break on the second day of the Sydney Test, Rohit Sharma was seen answering the questions of Jatin Sapru and Irfan Pathan on Star Sports. During this time, when Rohit Sharma was asked about Sam Constas, he gave such an answer which made everyone laugh. Rohit Sharma may be out of the Sydney Test, but from outside the field, he gave such a threat to the 19-year-old Australian opener that he would be shocked to hear it.

If you point a finger…: Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma while talking about Sam Constas said,

“Our boys are calm, there is class among our boys. Now if someone points a finger in vain, we will remain calm. Play cricket and talk nonsense. Why become Bachchan?”

Clash between Bumrah and Constas

Australia’s innings on the first day of the Sydney Test started with just 15 minutes left for stumps on the first day. Bumrah was completely ready to bowl the ball on the fifth ball of the third over but Usman Khawaja moved out of his crease. For once it seemed that Khawaja did this to cause a slight delay and prevent India from bowling another over.

What was the whole matter?

Bumrah objected to this and in response Constas turned back and said something to Bumrah. The matter came to such an extent that the umpire had to intervene. After this, the fifth ball goes outside the off stump, on which Khawaja does not make any shot. On the next and last ball of the over, Bumrah gets Khawaja caught out in the slip, after which Bumrah and other Indian players go in front of Constas and celebrate with full enthusiasm.

What did Rohit Sharma say on the question of retirement?

During this time, when Rohit Sharma was asked about retirement, he said, “People sitting outside with laptop, pen and paper cannot decide when I will take retirement and what decision I should take during this period.” During this, Rohit was also asked whether you were rested in the game, kept out of the team or dropped from the team? To this Rohit replied very honestly, “There is no reason for any of these. I told the team selectors and the coach that runs were not coming from my bat, so I myself decided to step down.”
