Police officer Kailash Soni said that to stop illegal liquor smuggling, vehicles were searched by blocking the Ratanpur border of Rajasthan-Gujarat. During this time, a Haryana number truck coming from Udaipur was stopped. Truck driver Rajesh Kumar (38), son of Havasingh Jat, resident of Badduchaina police station, Loharu, Haryana, said that it was full of blankets. When the police found the truck suspicious, they searched it. Illegal liquor was loaded in the truck under the cover of blanket. A total of 95 cartoons of Haryana-made English liquor and beer have been recovered from the truck. Police have arrested the accused liquor smuggler Rajesh Kumar.
Apart from this, on the information of the informer, the police stopped a truck at Ratanpur border. Driver Vijay (30), son of Chandgiram Jat, resident of Deelsar police station, Bissau district, Jhunjhunu, said that the luggage was full. When the police searched the truck, they found boxes filled with illicit liquor under the guise of luggage. Police have recovered a total of 85 cartoons of Haryana manufactured liquor. Police have arrested both the accused with liquor. Liquor is being seized and both the smugglers are being interrogated.
