The top leader of the party said that on June 11, 2025 coming to Islamabad High Court, the 190 million-pound Al-Kadir Trust will hear the petitions filed related to ending the sentence of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi. East 72 -year -old Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been lodged in Pakistan’s Adila Jail under several cases since 2023.

A senior government official of the Government of Pakistan, on Saturday (June 7, 2025), claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not in a position to start protests in the country. This remark of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s special assistant Rana Sanaullah on current political matters came two days after Ali Amin Gandapur, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a prominent leader of PTI party of Imran Khan.
Imran Khan had said- I will lead the protest movement from jail itself
PTI leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had said that after Eid-ul-Azha, a large-scale movement will be started for the release of Imran Khan who came into politics from cricket. Earlier last month, Imran Khan had said that he would lead his party’s upcoming protest movement against the coalition government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) at the Center.
Government Pti Will not allow the protests like before- Sanaullah
PTI had earlier held rallies to demand his release. According to Geo News, Sanaullah, while talking to the media at his hometown Faisalabad in Punjab, appealed to PTI to accept the offer of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s talks and sat with the government to amend the election laws.
He reiterated that the opposition should talk to the government to resolve the issue of the people of the country. Commenting on the recent call for PTI’s protests, Sanaullah said that the government will not allow the rival party to do anything like May 9, 2023 or 26 November 2024.
Imran Khan’s release before Eid, otherwise they will protest- Ali Amin Gandapur
On Thursday (June 5), Gandapur told reporters after meeting the PTI supremo in Adiala Jail near Rawalpindi, “If we do not see Imran Khan’s release before Eid-ul-Azha, we reserves the right to protest. We are moving towards agitation by bringing people to the streets against improper custody of Khan in fake cases. ”
