Farukh Engineer made his debut in ODI international cricket at the age of 36 years 138 days, while Varun made his debut in international ODI at the age of 33 years 164 days. Ajit Wadekar played the first ODI international match at the age of 33 years 108 days.
Shubman Gill will be seen opening with captain Rohit Sharma in place of left -handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal. Talking about the second change, Kuldeep Yadav has been seated outside. They have been given rest. Varun Chakraborty has been given a chance in his place who is making her debut in today’s match. Apart from this, there is no change in playing 11. Virat Kohli will play at number three in place of Shubman Gill and Shreyas will remain intact on 4.
England have made three changes in the playing-11 for this match. Mark Wood, Gas Atkinson and Jamie Overton have been included in the playing XI.
