Champions trophy 2025 final: The final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 will be played between India and New Zealand. This match will be held in Dubai on Sunday. India has performed amazing under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. But just before the final, there has been a sad news for Rohit. Rohit learned to play cricket on the ground. Now Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has taken action on that.
Actually Rohit Sharma learned to play cricket in Gorai region of Mumbai in childhood. Swami Vivekananda has become a turf in the school. Rohit has practiced a lot on this. Rohit has played a lot here during school days. But now this place is being broken. According to the report, Rohit’s coach and Dronacharya Award winner Dinesh Lad also requested to save this turf. But the administration did not accept it and took action.
Why did the administration take action –
MHADA (government institution) has taken action on the turf of Swami Vivekananda School located in Gorai area of Mumbai. Apart from Rohit, more cricketers have come out from here. But the administration has described it as illegal. This is a government land, where commercial work was going on. On this turf, children were being given coaching. It is alleged that Rohit’s coach Dinesh Lad used to charge fees in exchange for coaching to cricket players. For this reason, the administration has taken action.
India once again in the final under Rohit’s captaincy –
Team India won the T20 World Cup 2024 title under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. At the same time, the ODI World Cup had to face defeat in the final of 2023. But now the Indian team is in the final once again. India performed amazing in the Champions Trophy 2025. He defeated Australia badly in the semi -finals. Now there will be a match against New Zealand on Sunday.
