Because Bangladesh can currently stir up this arrest as a big controversy, although this is not the first time that someone has been caught fishing illegally in the Indian territorial waters.
Indian Coast Guard keeps an eye on every activity in the sea
The Indian Coast Guard pays special attention to every activity happening at sea. If any boat or trawler looks suspicious, it is immediately investigated. As a result of this, the Indian Coast Guard has arrested 78 Bangladeshi fishermen in the Indian territorial waters.

Keeping in mind the situation in Bangladesh, all the security agencies of India are on full alert. The coast guard is on full alert near the coast in the Bay of Bengal and the navy is on full alert in the deep sea. Due to this vigilance, the Coast Guard caught two big fishing trawlers together on December 9 (Monday), in which a total of 78 fishermen were aboard. This success was achieved when an Indian Coast Guard ship was patrolling the International Maritime Boundary Line.
During that time he noticed suspicious activities in the sea. After this the Coast Guard immediately launched its operation. In this, the name of one trawler is FV-Laila in which 41 crew members were present and the other is named FV Meghna in which 37 crew members were present. The trawler was caught and searched and all the crew members were taken into custody and taken to Paradip.
