Operation Sindoor: Pak Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has once again confessed to Pakistan’s relations with terrorist organizations. He said that terrorism and terrorists are things of Pakistan’s past, but they are still persecuting Pakistan. However, he again said that Pakistan did this work for America during the Afghan-Soviet War. America used to give them weapons to make Mujahideen Samub.
Khwaja Asif has given this statement in an interview on BBC news channel. BBC’s Pak Koraspondent Azade Moshiri asked if terrorist and terrorist organizations are still active in Pakistan, to which Khwaja Asif responded very strongly- no.
Khwaja Asif was questioned about Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, who conspired for terrorist attacks like Pulwama and Uri attacks, that the US believes that these organizations are still active in Pakistan. On this, Khwaja Asif said, ‘Terrorism and terrorists are things of our past. The terrorist organizations which America is active in Pakistan, they are ally of those groups whom America used to give weapons.
He said that in the 80s, during the Afghan-Soviyat war, he mentioned the role of America to give weapons to some Afghan groups. He said that the US has been doing the work of creating Mujahideen groups and providing weapons to decades and these organizations later became a terralerist groups.
Khwaja Asif said that these organizations also had a Haqqani network, which had links with Taliban, Jaish and Lashkar organizations. He said that Pakistan has been doing this work for America for decades and whatever groups were our ally, now all these organizations have become dry-cleaned, but our image has not been cleared yet. The US still accuses us for those groups who were their colleagues.
Khwaja Asif said who will decide whether you are a terrorist or I am not a terrorist or we are not a terrorist. He said that these terrorist leaders are alive, but they are not involved in any terrorist activity, whether it is Pakistan or across India or about any other country, these people are not involved in any terrorist activity.
