This decision of Azerbaijan will not only strengthen its relations with India, but Pakistan will also get a shock. After the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the tension between India and Pakistan has increased considerably. In such a situation, this decision of the Azerbaijan government is very important because Pakistan has repeatedly tried to surround India by raising the issue of Kashmir in front of Islamic countries.
Flights will run every day from Baku to Ahmedabad
The Economic Times told the hawal of sources that these flights are going to start between Baku and Ahmedabad from July 4, which will run four days a week. Azerbaijan’s National Air Career Azal is going to start direct flights for four days for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Azal currently operates flights to Mumbai and Delhi from Baku.
Sources said that Soda Ash was transported from Azerbaijan at southern ports of India via cargo, after which it has been decided to start the flight. Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, which works in the Indian Ocean, first delivered soda ash to the ports of Kattupalli and Kandla.
Right now flights run for Mumbai and Delhi
Currently, regular flights run for Baku for Baku for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, but from June 16, these flights will be scheduled for every day. At the same time, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for Delhi are regular flights for three days. Due to these ongoing flights between the two countries, the number of Indian tourists in Azerbaijan has increased considerably. Sources said that in 2024 last year, the number of Indian tourists was the highest.
Azerbaijan signs trilateral agreement with India
Azerbaijan has also signed another agreement with India. During the Energy Week this year, Azerbaijan signed a tripartite agreement to find out strategic opportunities in India’s energy sector. Azerbaijan is an important energy supplier of India, he invests in Indian oil companies.
Azerbaijan mourned the Pahalgam attack
The Azerbaijan government had expressed grief over the 26 Indians killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. He sent a message to the Government of India after the attack. At the same time, when Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif went to Azerbaijan last month, he raised the issue of Kashmir in a joint press event, but Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ilham Aliiv did not talk about this issue.
