India Sets Sights on Hosting Commonwealth Games 2030 Alredy Bid for Olympics 2036

India Sights on Commonwealth Games 2030: India, which has bid for the Olympics 2036, is now looking at the host of the Commonwealth Games 2030. In October last year, a letter of intent was submitted by India to host the Olympics. Now informally negotiations were started by India with the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) for the 100th edition of the Commonwealth Games to be held in 2030.

Let us know that the Commonwealth Games were organized in India for the first time in 2010. The 2010 Commonwealth Games took place in Delhi. According to ‘Indian Express’, Ahmedabad is at the forefront of the 2030 Commonwealth Games. Apart from this, Bhubaneswar is also included in the list.

The report further stated that last week, CGF President Chris Jenkins and Chief Executive Katie Saddalier visited several cities in India. In Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar and New Delhi, they met ministers and senior officials of the state and central government. He also visited possible places in Ahmedabad and Bhubaneswar.

Jenkins also met the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha at the inauguration ceremony of the National Games in Dehradun, where the potential Indian dialect spoke.

The report further stated that during the conversation, Jenkins set a time limit, in which the last date to express official interest was kept on 31 March.

The report quoted the Commonwealth Games Federation as saying, “CGF President Chris Jenkins was recently called to participate in the opening ceremony of the National Games in India.
