India Shock China-Pakistan: Indonesian President Probowo is on a tour of India these days. During this time, BrahMos missile deal can be announced between the two countries. With this, India will be able to hit two birds with one stone. While India is encircling China in the Indo-Pacific Ocean by strengthening defense relations with Indonesia, on the other hand, India’s friendship with Indonesia, the country with the world’s largest Muslim population, is a blow to Pakistan.
In fact, India is strengthening relations with ASEAN countries to deal with the challenge of China in the Indian Ocean. Indonesia is an important country for this plan of India. India’s policy is to strengthen defense and trade relations with the countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, so that China’s interference in this region is reduced. Apart from this, China also keeps threatening these countries from time to time, that is why after Philippines, Indonesia is also going to avoid the deal of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile with India.
Many countries want to make agreement with India
China continues to intrude into the borders of these countries in the South China Sea. Till now the defense preparedness of these countries was weak. Therefore, they are increasing their strength to deal with the aggression of Chinese ships. This is the reason why apart from Philippines and Indonesia, there are many countries which want to enter into a defense agreement with India.
