Champions trophy: Sri Lankan legendary spinner Muttiah Muralitharan said here on Monday that India would need both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli runs to win the Champions Trophy. He also said that in this competition, the teams of the subcontinent will have a more balanced bowling attack.
Rohit and Kohli’s form remains a matter of discussion before the tournament of eight countries starting on February 19 in Pakistan and Dubai. Muralitharan said in a special conversation with ‘PTI videos’ on the sidelines of a program here, “Surely, because they are world class players. He said, “This (spin bowling) is more important because wickets in Pakistan will be helpful for spinners, even in UAE.
