
Australia crime: In Australia, a prominent person of the Indian community has been sentenced to 40 years in jail for the crime of raping five Korean women. The court made it clear that it would not get any right to parole for 30 years. This case is considered one of the heinous crimes against women in Australia.
Australia’s ‘Downing Center District Court’ on Friday (March 8) convicted 43 -year -old Balesh Dhankhar for the crime. According to the ‘Australian Associated Press’ report, Dhankhar issued a fake advertisement for a job at his home in Sydney. When the women reached for the interview, she molested them and then raped her unconscious.
Also made a video of crime
According to the report, the accused not only committed this disgusting crime but also made a video of it. The evidence presented in the court also included video footage which strengthened the case against the accused. All the victims were between 21 and 27 years of age and were unconscious during the crime or their situation was very weak.
Resentment increased after sentence
After this decision, resentment in Indian and Korean communities in Australia is increasing. This case has become a matter of serious concern about the safety of women and crimes in the name of jobs. The people of the community are demanding to take concrete steps from the administration.
The local administration has also appealed to the people to remain active, not coming under the guise of fake jobs and immediately inform the concerned officials about any suspicious activity. The security agencies are also taking necessary steps taking this matter seriously.
