Infosys’s HR department is sending alert on work for more than 9.15 hours.

IT company Infosys is advising its employees to avoid overtime and maintain work-life balance. The company is cautious by sending personal emails to employees working for more hours during the Work from Home.

Earlier, the company’s founder Narayan Murthy had advised to work 70 hours a week. He had said- The youth have to understand that we have to work hard and work towards making India number one.

Alert will be available at work for more than 9.15 hours

Infosys’s HR department is sending emails to employees whose average working time a day is 9.15 hours or 5 days per week. It is being told in these mails that how many days did you have done a remote work, how many hours did you work and on an average, how many hours did you work daily.

Also, the company is clearly saying that we appreciate your hard work, but your health and long professional life is necessary.

Decision taken due to hybrid work policy

Infosys has implemented a hybrid work policy from November 2023, in which every employee needs to come to the office at least 10 days a month. Since then the HR team has been tracking remote working hours.

The company believes that constant overtime, irregular schedule and poor lifestyle are affecting the health of employees. So now Infosys has become strict about work-life balance.
