IT company Infosys Limited will announce results on January 16 for the quarter ending December 31, 2024. The company gave this information on Friday (December 13). Infosys said that the board meeting will be held on January 15 and 16.
Infosys shares closed at Rs 1,999 with a gain of 0.60% on Friday. The stock has risen about 10% in the last one month. The stock has given a return of 33% in 6 months and 29% this year. The market cap of Infosys is Rs 8.28 lakh crore.
Infosys has made a profit of Rs 6,506 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. There has been an increase of 4.7% on annual basis. The company had made a consolidated net profit of Rs 6,212 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Infosys’ profit of ₹6,506 crore in the second quarter
The company generated revenue of Rs 40,986 crore in the July-September quarter. There has been an increase of 5.1% on annual basis. A year ago i.e. in Q2 FY23-24, the tech company had generated a revenue of Rs 38,994 crore. The money received from selling goods and services is revenue.
Dividend of Rs 21 per share was announced
Infosys’ board had also approved an interim dividend of Rs 21 per share to shareholders. Companies give some part of the profits to their shareholders, it is called dividend.

Founded in 1981, Infosys is a NYSE listed global consulting and IT services company. The company was started with a capital of 250 dollars (approximately Rs 21,000 as of today). Today its market cap is Rs 7.28 lakh crore.
