This all -rounder of Ireland has made his place in the record book for the first time in the history of professional cricket by taking five wickets from five consecutive balls. In the Inter Provinable T20 tournament, the captainman of Munter Reds wreaked havoc in the bowling that the opposition team was completely piled up.
The 26 -year -old Curtis Cover has played 111 international matches for Ireland and is playing as a captain for Munter Reds in the Inter Provinable T20 tournament. On Thursday, he overturned the match against North West Warriors with this historic performance.
How did this amazing?
The Cover supported the first bat by scoring the most 44 runs for his team and then the bowling caused such havoc that the opposition team was scattered like cards. Munter Reds batted first and kept a target of 189 runs. In response, the North West Warriors remained in the match by scoring 86 runs for 5 wickets for 11.4 overs.
After this, there was a flood of Cover on the ground. The Cover dismissed David Wilson and Graham Hume on the fifth and sixth balls of the 12th over and moved them to the pavilion. He then created history by sending Andy McBrian, Robbian and Josh Wilson to the pavilion on the first three balls of the 14th over. Five wickets in five balls, and that too in a T20 match, it was never written before in cricket books.

Josh Wilson was the last batsman of the North West Warriors and was bowled on the third ball of the 14th over. His team’s innings ended here, due to which the camp did not get a chance to throw the sixth ball. If he took another wicket, he could become the first player in the world to take six wickets for six consecutive balls.
After the match, when he was asked about this unfinished record, he smiled and said, “I could not think it could happen, I am happy with my performance.”
So far, many bowlers have done amazing to take 4 wickets from 4 balls, but they are the first and only players to take 5 wickets in 5 balls. His name has now been written in special letters in the pages of cricket.
