Sunrisers Hyderabad excluded Travis Head and brought Simarjit Singh as Impact Player in the second innings but he put only 1 over and proved to be very expensive in it. He looted 20 runs in 1 over.
On making Simarjeet an impact player, Cummins said, “There was a bringing one between Simarjeet or Rahul Chahar. During the bowling of Gujarat Titans, it felt that fast bowling is more effective, it is difficult to avoid them, so we went with Simarjit Singh.”
