Lucknow Super Giats IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants have made a big change in the team just before their first match in IPL 2025. Lucknow has included Shardul Thakur in the team. Team bowler Mohsin Khan has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury. So Shardul has been given a chance. Shardul has a good record so far. But he was not sold in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Now Lucknow has included the team at the base price.
The IPL has shared information about Shardul through the official website. Left arm fast bowler Mohsin Khan is troubled by injury. They will not be able to play a single match of this season. So the team has signed Shardul. Shardul’s base price is 2 crores. He is an experienced fast bowler. Lucknow’s first match in this season is with Delhi Capitals. This match will be held on 24 March. The Lucknow team will play under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant.

Shardul has taken 94 wickets in the IPL so far. IPL 2021 was quite good for him. Shardul took 21 wickets in 16 matches of this season. While in 2020 also took 10 wickets. Shardul played a debut match in the IPL in 2015. Shardul has played for five IPL teams. He has played for Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Rising Pune Supergiant.
