
Iran Ayatollah Khamenei: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended the funeral of two senior Supreme Court judges killed in Tehran. These judges were shot dead on Saturday (January 18). The picture of Khamenei during this appearance has gone viral on social media, in which speculations about his wearing a bulletproof jacket have intensified.
Commenting on Khamenei’s photos, Jason Brodsky, policy director of United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that Khamenei looked fatter than usual. He raised questions about whether Khamenei was wearing a bulletproof vest, indicating increased security fears among the Iranian regime.

They are protected by specially trained commandos of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
