The Al-Akhbar quoted the Syrian Observatory as saying that Syrian ruler Mohammad Al-Julani had condemned the Israeli attack a few hours before the airstrike and demanded the withdrawal of the areas of southern Syria. Julani-led rebels captured the Syrian capital last year, after which Bashar al-Assad’s rule ended.
