IDF Secret Mission in Syria: The Israeli Army has made a big disclosure regarding one of its secret missions in Syria. The IDF said, “During the reign of President Bashar al-Assad, Israel’s 120 commandos wreaked havoc in Syria. At the same time, with the help of Iran, the underground missile factory in Syria was also completely destroyed.
IDF said that Israel had carried out this secret mission on September 8, 2024, but now it has been made public. Israel named this secret mission ‘Operation Many Ways’. Which was carried out by the dreaded Shaldag unit of the Israeli Army in just 3 hours.
Missile factory was running under the ground
The Israeli Army said that this Iranian missile factory was built in several layers 70 to 130 meters below the ground in the Masyaf area of Syria. Where deadly missiles were manufactured and then sent to Hezbollah and Bashar al-Assad’s forces in Lebanon.
Syria’s air defense fails to stop Israel
It is noteworthy that Israeli army commandos carried out this secret mission by entering 200 kilometers inside Syria and Syria’s air defense systems proved completely unsuccessful in stopping them. The Israeli army did not suffer any loss in this entire mission.
Construction of missile factory started in 2017
Israel said, “An Iranian rocket manufacturing factory was destroyed in an IDF airstrike. After this, Iran started the construction of this missile factory under the mountain in the year 2017. Which started in the year 2021. This factory was constructed 70 to 130 meters below the ground. There were 16 rooms in it, in which missiles were made. Our estimate is that 100 to 300 missiles were manufactured there every year and their range was up to 300 km.”
Israel’s elite commandos carried out the mission
A total of 120 commandos were involved in Operation Many Ways in Syria, of which 100 were from lethal force commandos and 20 were from medical personnel units. The commandos entered Syria by sea in a CH-53 Yasoor heavy transport helicopter. Along with them, Apache attack helicopters, 21 fighter jets, 5 drones and 14 surveillance aircraft were present in the air. Who completed the entire mission in 3 hours.
