Rana said that the Pakistan team in the Champions Trophy was eliminated in the beginning. The team’s performance has been poor. The government will take cognizance about this. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will personally talk. Even though the Pakistan Cricket Board is an independent institution, it will raise these issues related to Pakistan cricket in the cabinet and Parliament.
He said that of course Pakistan Cricket Board takes its own decisions but he will appeal to the PM to raise the issue of such defeat of the team in Parliament. Will also raise the issue of appointment of PCB chairman.
