Jasprit Bumrah, Bed Rest: Before the Champions Trophy 2025, bad news has emerged for Team India. It was reported in the report that star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will have to remain on bed rest. The decision to play next for Bumrah will be taken only after the swelling in his back gets cured. Bumrah returned home from the last Australia tour, in which five Tests were played.
According to a report published in ‘Times of India’, it was told that Bumrah will go to BCCI’s Center of Excellence, but the date for that has not been decided yet. Apart from this, it was told that there will be no haste regarding Bumrah’s return. He has been asked to rest at home for the time being.
The report quoted a source as saying, “Bumrah can go to the Center of Excellence by next week, but no date has been decided yet. He has been advised to take the best rest at home, so that the muscles can recover and the swelling goes away. Once it is done, then the further program will be decided.”
