Jasprit bumrah new look: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had issued a statement last Tuesday that Jasprit Bumrah will not be able to play in the Champions Trophy 2025 due to injury. It was told that he has a problem of pain in the lower back, in such a situation, Harshit Rana was given a place in the Indian squad as his replacement. Bumrah has been seen for the first time after being out of the Indian squad. He has shared a post on social media, in which he is seen training.
Jasprit Bumrah has shared a picture taken from the gym on Instagram. In this, he wrote in the caption in the English language, “Riblding”, which can be understood in Hindi that he has gone on the path of getting fit again. Bumrah has not played cricket since the Sydney Test against Australia in January. He returned to the dressing room after bowling 10.1 overs in the first innings of the Sydney Test. After conducting the investigation, Australian doctors had advised Bumrah not to bowl further in the Sydney Test. Bumrah batting in the second innings, but did not come to bowl.
Harshit Rana became replacement
The ICC had placed a deadline in front of all the 8 countries participating in the Champions Trophy that they can all make necessary changes in their respective squads by February 11. BCCI waited for the last time on Bumrah’s fitness, finally he had to be out of the Champions Trophy when he did not fit. He has been replaced by Harshit Rana, who took 6 wickets in 3 ODIs against England.
