
Cricketer Death Lightning Kerala: A very sad news has come out from Kerala. A cricketer has died due to sky lightning. The case is from Alpuzha city in Kerala, where 28 -year -old cricketer Akhil P Srinivasan has died while playing cricket on Sunday, March 16. It is being told that in the evening Akhil was playing cricket with his friends, then lightning fell from the sky on him. He was admitted to the nearest hospital, but the doctors could not save his life.
According to the news agency PTI, the police said in its statement that Akhil P Srinivasan was a resident of Kodupunna’s Kodupunna’s Puthuval Lakshmidu Colony. After lightning, he was admitted to a government hospital, where doctors took care of him. Burning marks were found on Akhil’s ears, head and chest. Unfortunately, he was declared dead shortly after reaching the hospital.
The phone flew due to lightning
The incident took place at 3:30 pm on Sunday evening. Akhil received a call while fielding. As soon as he picked up the phone, the phone flew away due to lightning. Akhil’s friend Sharan told that the phone has become the cause of this death. Please tell that shelter was also injured, but their injury is not serious. Used to do all welding work.
Last year too, reports of death of people during playing cricket had shocked people. While playing cricket in Pune in December 2024, a person had a heart attack during the game. Apart from this, Suvojjit Banerjee, who played Ranji Trophy for Bengal in December last year, died while playing cricket at the age of 39.
