Ajinkya rahane on kkr loss: Kolkata Knight Riders have suffered defeat at the hands of RCB in their first match of IPL 2025. The batting of Royal Challengers Bangalore was so strong that Kolkata’s bowling line-up could not stand before him. Virat Kohli and Phil Salat scored half -centuries for RCB. Virat scored an unbeaten 59 innings, while Salt scored 56 runs in a stormy style. For Kolkata, only three bowlers were able to take one wicket each. Now KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane has counted his team’s defeat.
Where to turn the match
Explaining the reason for the defeat of his team, Ajinkya Rahane said, “We were playing well till the 13th over, but 2-3 wickets turned the match to reverse the match. Later the batsmen tried tirelessly, but could not succeed. When I and Venkatesh Iyer were batting, we were thinking about the score of 200-210. Ajinkya Rahane also mentioned the arrival of DU in later overs. He also praised the batting done by RCB within the powerplay.
Kolkata’s team had once scored 107 runs in the 10th over at the loss of one wicket. In 10 overs, the team’s score had crossed 100, so the score of 200 seemed to be completely possible. On seeing this, the KKR team had lost the next 5 wickets within the next 43 runs. In the end, the team could reach the score of 174 only. In the last 10 overs, the team was able to score only 67 runs. It can be said that KKR could have scored 20-30 runs. At the same time, a big reason for KKR’s defeat was that once under pressure, the line and length of all the bowlers started to deteriorate.
