

The Punjab government of Pakistan has started registration process for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz. The purpose of this scheme is to equip promising students with technical equipment.

According to the Tribune report, under the Punjab government of Pakistan, 110,000 students will be given Core I7 laptops of New Generation, in which 2,000 laptops are reserved for minority students.

In Pakistan, this scheme has been started for those students who have completed their matriculation or intermediate education. Under this scheme, students of the first and second semester of BS have been specially taken into consideration.

Announcing the scheme, Punjab Government Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said that this is an important step to digitize the educational journey of the students digitally.

The laptop scheme in Pakistan is on the lines of UP scheme. Let us know that in UP, the then government of Akhilesh Yadav distributed more than 16 lakh laptops between the year 2012 and 2016.

Laptops will be distributed to 110,000 students in Pakistan, which will be equipped with generation 13, core i7 specification. In this, 2 thousand laptops have been reserved for minority students.

The first or second semester student of BS will be given a laptop, who has passed the intermediate with 65 per cent marks. Laptops will be given to students of medical and dental colleges who have secured 80 percent marks.

Under this scheme, laptops will be distributed to students of different educational areas. In this, 20,000 laptop university students, 14,000 college students, 4,000 technical and agricultural college students, 2,000 medical and Dental College students and 32 percent laptops will be allotted to South Punjab students.

Interested students can register online by visiting the official website CMLAttophed.punjab.gov.pk. For registration, students will have to upload their information, education certificates and other necessary documents on the website.
