

CM Mohan: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday that the state budget for FY 2025-26 will be around Rs 4.21 lakh crore.
Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Jagdish Deora will present the budget in the assembly today. Yadav said in a video statement on the social media platform ‘X’ before the budget was presented, “When the government was being formed, we promised to double the outlay in five years. In the last financial year (2024-25), we presented a budget of about Rs 3.5 lakh crore. This year’s budget is going to be more than Rs 4.20 lakh crore. ”
He said, “Madhya Pradesh was formed in 1956. By 2003, the state budget had increased to around Rs 20,000 crore. Now it has been 21 times to about 4.21 lakh crore rupees. This shows the speed of development. “
The Chief Minister claimed that BJP -ruled Madhya Pradesh is increasing the fastest growth in the country. He said that his government is working for the welfare of youth, women, poor and farmers according to the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
