The country’s largest SUV manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has made a profit of Rs 2,437 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25. It has increased by 21.85% on an annual basis. The company made a profit of Rs 2,000 crore in the same quarter of last year.
In the January-March quarter, M&M generated a revenue of ₹ 31,353 crore from operations, it has increased by 25% on an annual basis. In January-March 2024, the company generated a revenue of 25,183 crore. The money from selling goods and services is revenue or revenue.
18% decreased by the October-December quarter
The company’s profit has increased by 21.85% on an annual basis, but on a quarterly basis it has reduced by 17.78%. In October-December, Mahindra made a profit of Rs 2,964 crore. At the same time, the company’s profit increased by 11.40% in FY 2025 as compared to FY 2024. M&M’s profit in FY25 was Rs 11,855 crore which was 10,642 in FY24

- Standalone financial results: It only explains the financial position of a single company (parent company or independent unit). It only includes the income, expenses, assets and liability of the company, which operates on its own. It is used to understand how profitable the company is from its independent operation or deficit.
Understand this with an example …
The Tata Motors subsidiary is Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The standalone result will include only the income and expenses of Tata Motors (without JLR). Whereas, the consolidated results have a financial position of both Tata Motors and JLR.
Mahindra’s share climbed 36% in a year
After the results, Mahindra shares today (Monday, May 5) have a rise of 3.26%. It is trading at 3,021.70 above 95. The company’s stock has given a return of 2.64% in the last 5 days, 21.29% in a month, 4.22% in 6 months and 35.81% in a year. Mahindra’s stock has fallen 1.96% since this year i.e. January 1, 2025. The company’s market-cap is Rs 3.64 lakh crore.
