Manu bhaker shooting national trials: India’s star shooter Manu Bhakar went on a break after winning two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics 2024. After taking a break for a few months, he started practicing again in the last months of 2024. Now finally he has made a comeback after 6 months. Manu appeared in the National selection trial before the upcoming international events. He participated in the 25m pistol event on Monday and topped the qualification round scoring 587.

Manu Bhaker was seen in a very good rhythm in the qualification round. Despite collecting 587 points, he had to be content with third place after the final round. In the T1 category of women’s 25m pistol event, Punjab’s Simranpreet Kaur Brar won with a final score of 36. Isha Singh of Telangana finished second and the double medalist of Olympics 2024 with a score of 31. This trial is very important from the perspective of the upcoming World Cup.

Manu Bhakar created history in Paris Olympics

At the age of just 22, Manu Bhakar has registered his name among the most successful shooters of India. She became the first female shooter in history to win the medal in the Olympics shooting event last year. He won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol single competition. Apart from this, he also won the bronze medal in the 10 meter air pistol event with Sarabjot Singh. She became the first such athlete in independent India to win 2 different medals in the same Olympics. He was recently awarded the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award for his achievements. Let me tell you that the shooting is to be the World Cup after a few months.
