Maruti Suzuki India has announced a price increase. This increase varies on all models of the company’s lineup. The new prices will be applicable from 1 February 2025. Maruti has said that the prices will be increased from Rs 1,500 to Rs 32,500.

Earlier in January also, the company had increased prices by up to 4% on all the models in its line-up. Maruti has taken this decision due to increasing input and operational costs. The company says that it has no option left but to pass on some of the burden to its customers.

Model-wise price hike: Celerio prices rise the most The prices of Celerio have increased the most. It has been increased by Rs 32,500, while the prices of Ciaz, Jimny have increased by up to Rs 1,500.

Alto K10: up to Rs 19,500

S-Presso: Up to Rs 5,000

Celerio: up to Rs 32,500

Wagon R: Up to Rs 13,000

Swift: Up to Rs 5,000

Desire: Up to Rs 10,500

Brezza: up to Rs 20,000

Ertiga: Up to Rs 15,000

Eco: Up to Rs 12,000

Super Carry: Up to Rs 10,000

Ignis: Up to Rs 6,000

Baleno: up to Rs 9,000

Ciaz: Up to Rs 1,500

XL6: Up to Rs 10,000

Fronts: Up to Rs 5,500

Invicto: Up to Rs 30,000

Jimny: Up to Rs 1,500

Maruti sold 1,78,248 cars in December 2024 Maruti Suzuki sold 1,78,248 units in December 2024, which is 30% more than last year. This includes 1,32,523 units sold domestically, 37,419 units exported and 8,306 units sold to other OEMs.

Maruti Suzuki profits of ₹3,069 crore in the second quarter

Maruti Suzuki has made a profit (standalone net profit) of Rs 3,069 crore in the second quarter (July-September) of the financial year 2024-25. There has been a decline of 17% on annual basis (YoY). In the July-September quarter a year ago, the company had made a profit of Rs 3717 crore.

The company’s operational revenue in the July-September quarter stood at Rs 37,203 crore. In July-September 2023, the company had generated revenue of Rs 37,062 crore. There was a slight increase of 0.37% on annual basis. Earning from selling goods and services is called revenue.
