Questions arose on team selection
When Faheem Ashraf was included in the squad of the Champions Trophy, his selection was questioned. Before his return to the Tri -series, he was last seen playing for the Pak team in the 2023 Asia Cup. Despite being disappeared from the Pak team for so long, he came on target after getting a place in the Champions Trophy squad. He was also excluded from the ODI series against Australia and South Africa.
Faheem Ashraf made an international debut for Pakistan in the year 2017. There has been a lack of continuity in his performance, so he has been out of the team again and again. He has taken 25 wickets in 17 Tests so far besides scoring 678 runs. At the same time, he has 26 wickets in 35 ODIs. He has also taken 36 wickets in T20 cricket.
