Mohammed shami roza controversy: Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami is seen to be in trouble due to not keeping fast during Ramadan days. Now Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi Barelvi has called Shami as a guilty. Shahabuddin is the President of All India Muslim Jamaat. In fact, the matter is related to the Champions Trophy 2025 India vs. Australia semi -final match on 4 March. In that match, Shami was seen consuming beverages. Since then, Shami was taken up by critics.

Starting attack on Mohammed Shami

Now, by quoting ANI, Maulana Shahabuddin reacted to the Mohammed Shami controversy and said, “It is necessary to keep fasting in Islam religion. If a healthy person does not deliberately fasten, he would have run away from sin. A popular person related to cricket in India, Mohammed Shami consumed water like water during a match. People were watching them. If they are playing, they are healthy.”

Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi Barelvi further said that despite being healthy, Mohammed Shami consumed the beverage. It propagates the wrong message among the people. They have committed a crime by not keeping Rosa. They should not do this. According to Shariah, Shami will be called a criminal.

Mohammed Shami’s brother replied

Mohammed Shami’s brother Zaid broke the silence on the subject and said, “Rosa and Namaz are the duty of every Muslim. If a person is traveling, there are concessions in it.” Zaid taunted Mohammed Shami’s critics and said that he does not know anything about his own religion. He says that it is clearly written in Islam that Roza can be left while traveling long.
