Mohammad Siraj Wickets: Mohammed Siraj shone in the second innings of the Melbourne Test. Now he has set the same tone in the first innings of Sydney Test also. He helped Team India gain a strong position in the fifth Test match by dismissing two Australian batsmen in the same over. Especially the video of him celebrating after taking the wicket of Travis Head is going viral. In fact, he had put Australia on the back foot by taking the wickets of Sam Constance and Travis Head in the same over.
This is the case of the 12th innings of Australia when Mohammad Siraj got Sam Consts caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal on the very second ball. Team India was also seen shouting loudly when the wicket of Constance fell because the debate between Jasprit Bumrah and Sam Constance had heated up the atmosphere on the field on the first day of the Sydney Test. After that Travis Head came on the field, hit a four on the very second ball of his innings. But on the very next ball, KL Rahul was caught at head slip. Head could score only 4 runs.
At one time the Australian team had scored 35 runs for the loss of 2 wickets, but due to the fall of two wickets in the same over, Australia’s score became 39 runs for 4 wickets. Recall that on the first day of the Sydney Test, when Jasprit Bumrah took the wicket of Usman Khawaja, he had an argument with Sam Constance. Therefore, from the beginning of the second day, the Indian bowlers bowled aggressively. This match is important for the Indian team because defeat in it means the Indian team will be out of the race for the World Test Championship final.
