On Thursday (May 29, 2025) on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, the claims of Mohammad Yunus were dismissed in the weekly media briefing, alleging that India was trying to destabilize Bangladesh.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said on Thursday that the allegations being made by Bangladesh on India are an attempt to divert attention from the real issues. Jaiswal said that as far as the government is concerned, due to lack of law and order related issues, he (Mohammad Yunus) is making such allegations.
‘They are running away from their responsibilities’
Targeting Mohammad Yunus, a spokesman of the Ministry of External Affairs said that even in such a situation, if someone accuses others about the problems of his country, then it is clear that they want to distract attention from real issues. Their problems are not going to solve their problems by making concocted allegations on another country. It seems that he is running away from his responsibilities. Yunus’s press secretary had said in the past that tireless efforts are being made to destabilize Bangladesh on both sides, which has created a situation like war in the country.
‘Bangladesh is now going through a situation like war’
Mohammad Yunus allegedly claimed in a meeting with Citizen Ekta Party President Mahmudur Rahman Manna that a conspiracy was being hatched to regain Indian suzerainty in Bangladesh. He alleged that India is not able to accept the change in Bangladesh. According to Younus, Bangladesh is now going through a war -like situation. Randhir Jaiswal said that an inclusive, independent and fair election should be held in Bangladesh soon to find out the wishes and mandate of his people.
