
Uttar pradesh politics: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the Yogi government for action on illegal madrasas and mosques in Uttar Pradesh. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has strongly objected to the action being taken by the state government on illegal madrasas and mosques. Describing the move as ‘inspired by communal politics’, he said that the purpose of these actions of the government is to target the Muslim community, especially the Muslim community. Akhilesh Yadav questioned the government’s dual policy citing the recent violent demonstrations by the Karni Sena in Agra. He alleged that ‘no strict steps are taken against the sword waves in this state, but those who are running the madrasas are facing administrative action.’ He also said that such policies are working to disturb social harmony and try to divert attention from the real issues of the public.
Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP -led Yogi government. He questioned the actions being taken against madrasas and mosques in Bahraich, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar and Shravasti districts of the state. Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘Most of the madrasas and mosques that are being targeted are made during the BJP rule. Now by taking action on them, the government is targeting only one community. He described this action as motivated by politics and said that the government is taking such steps to divert attention from the real issues of the people.
Operate of vote bank politics on BJP
Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Yogi government over the ongoing administrative action against mosques and madrasas in the state. Akhilesh Yadav taunted and asked, ‘Where were the concerned officials when they were being constructed?’ He said that most of the religious places which are being targeted in districts like Bahraich, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar and Shravasti are made during the BJP rule. Now action is being taken by calling them illegal, which is clearly a strategy to target a community. Questioning the continuous action on madrasas and mosques, Akhilesh said, ‘If the building map is not near or the land papers are incomplete, then the administration should find a solution. The work of the police is not to see whether the map is nearby or not. ‘Akhilesh Yadav accused the government of spreading communal polarization on this issue and said that this action has become a means of diverting attention from the real problems of the public.
Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of raising religious issues for political purpose. He said that ‘BJP’s vote share is falling continuously and the party is badly nervous due to this decline.’ Akhilesh Yadav said, “The BJP is now giving air to the controversial issues like Waqf law and action on the Waqf law and madrasas to keep the supporters of its staunch ideology connected and organized the disintegration.” He alleged that all this is happening under a well-planned strategy to distract the real issues of the public like unemployment, inflation and law and order.
