The department has started online registration, which will be till December 10. In this competition, students will be given an opportunity to test their knowledge, participate in challenges and learn about meteorology. Meteorological Department officials said that the competition will be held at two levels. At the state level, the exam will be declared on 14th and 15th December and the result will be declared on 17th. For this, students can register on the website. The last date for registration is 10th December. National level camp and contest will be held on 14 January. The 150th foundation day of the Meteorological Center will be celebrated on 15th January. The top three winners of the state level exam will be invited for a one-day seminar to be held on January 14 in New Delhi. These people will participate in the foundation day celebrations of the Meteorological Department to be held on January 15. The top two candidates from each state will participate in the national level exam. The first winner of the state level will be given a prize of Rs 5,000, the second winner will be given Rs 3,000 and the third winner will be given a prize of Rs 2,000. In the national competition, the first prize will be Rs 25,000, the second prize will be Rs 15,000 and the third prize will be Rs 10,000. Mementos and certificates will be given along with cash prizes.
