According to the ANI report, after the incident, Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Paudel and Mayor Dhanraj Acharya were taken to Kathmandu via helicopter in a hurry for immediate treatment. Where they have been admitted for treatment in a hospital.
Shyamnath Olia, Superintendent of Police of Kaski District Police Office, said, “He has been taken to Kathmandu for further treatment.”
How did the accident happen?
The accident occurred during the inauguration ceremony of Pokhara Tourism Year. Balloons were to be released, but they got exposed to the fire poppers and exploded. After the explosion, the police confirmed that Paudel and Acharya were taken to Kathmandu and admitted to the hospital.
