RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was angered on Sunday when he was asked about the possibility of a re -alliance with Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) President Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with RJD last year joined the BJP -led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Former Deputy Chief Minister Yadav was allegedly addressing a press conference after the Dharna organized by the RJD against the theft and digesting reservation by the RJD here.
When asked if he was likely to join hands with the JD (U) chief before the assembly elections, Yadav said, “Why would we join hands?” Why are you trying to divert attention from the current issue? ”
He was told that there is such speculation in a section of the media that recently 74 -year -old Nitish Kumar is worried that the BJP can pressurize the leadership after the election and the RJD is ready to take advantage of this situation and “propose” the alliance with him.
Generally, the Yadav of sociable nature strictly replied, “There is no proposal from anyone.” In my party, only RJD president Lalu ji and I are authorized to take any decision on the alliance. Please do not talk unnecessarily. ”
The young leader emphasized that Kumar is now losing his conscience, which is clear from the level of the language used by him in public. “
Citing some examples of Kumar publicly trying to touch the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi publicly, Yadav said, “Does it suit the Chief Minister of a state?”
Yadav claimed, “The day is not far when Kumar will fall into the feet of his two sitting Deputy Chief Ministers – Vijay Kumar Sinha and Emperor Chaudhary.”
He accused the BJP of “working on its anti -reservation agenda in Bihar”.
The RJD leader alleged, “This is the reason that when the petition related to reservation is being heard, the state government counsel in the Supreme Court is not arguing properly.”
It is noteworthy that the state government has challenged the Supreme Court challenging the order of the Patna High Court, in which the laws that raised reservation for the disadvantaged castes from 50 percent to 65 percent were rejected.
