The result was that Heritage Corporation Commissioner Arun Hasija and Vigilance Deputy Commissioner Pushpendra Singh called the traders for talks. During this, apart from General Secretary of Jaipur Trade Federation Suresh Saini and Executive President Harish Kedia, a delegation of Sanjay Bazaar Trade Board President Suresh Kumar Lashkari and General Secretary Vishnu Sharma met the officers. The corporation administration has accepted all the demands of the traders.
Commissioner Arun Kumar Hasija assured the traders that the administration will be busy as the government completes one year this week, but from next week only 297 footpath traders, who are already included in the list, will be allowed to sit. Hatwara will be shifted somewhere else in the next one month. Besides, encroachments will also be removed.
President Suresh Kumar Lashkari and General Secretary Vishnu Sharma said that the business worth crores of traders is being affected due to the illegal hutwaras organized every Sunday in Sanjay Bazaar, because the hutwaras are in possession since Saturday night. Not only this, shops worth crores taken in auction by the corporation are being ruined here. Whereas the court has ordered to shift Hatawade to some other place.
These seven-point demands were accepted
- Removal and relocation of illegal encampments.
- Formation of special committee for the development of Sanjay Bazaar.
- Auction of shops and investigation of illegal occupations.
- Appointment of advocate to represent Hatwara cases.
- Permanent removal of illegal vegetable markets and carts.
- Removal of dump vehicles, illegal constructions and compliance with High Court orders.
- To speed up parking, road improvement and other basic development works.
