Rajyavardhan Singh said that I do not think any other state will have possibilities like Rajasthan.
Question: Such a huge investment figure has never come before in an investment summit. How will you implement this investment?
Rajyavardhana: The previous state government was creating hurdles even in the plans of the central government. At the same time, the way Prime Minister Modi has created confidence in the minds of people, the whole world wants to invest in India. Due to the double engine of the government and a strong will power, we have received such a large number of investment proposals in the first year of organizing the Investment Summit.
This is phase one. In this we have pushed Rajasthan. The capabilities of the state have been told to the world. Secondly, we made policies through this investment summit. Now the third phase is to execute all these. For that we have single window clearance system. We are making policies for every sector. We have made 21 new policies. 9 policies have been launched.

Question: For the investors who have signed MoUs, what is the guarantee that they will invest in Rajasthan only and what are the possibilities regarding the energy sector?
Rajyavardhana: The heat of the sun in Jaisalmer is different from that in Bikaner. Haryana is a very far away thing. A lot changes by the time we reach Haryana. Which is solar energy which is possible only within a few states. It is highest in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Now you have asked a question about investors, so I count you. Does the Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor originate from Haryana or Rajasthan?
There is a 150 kilometer strip on both sides of the freight corridor, where is it most vacant? If it is in Rajasthan then where can most of the logistics work be done…it can be done in Rajasthan. Where is the potential for tourism the most? Are in Rajasthan. Whenever an investor wants to invest in the state, he looks for a single point of contact. One officer each has been appointed for this. We will give land to industries through lottery system. With this the price of land will remain fixed.
Question: You did a lot of preparation for the summit, but many irregularities were seen. Opposition also raised the issue?
Rajyavardhana: Look, I agree, we could have done better at the summit we did. The question here was whether we should do the summit in the first year.
There were many officials who were pressurizing them to do it next year. If we had done it next year, we would have lost two years. The government together decided that we will do this in the very first year.
There were challenges in doing it in the first year. There were Lok Sabha elections in 2024, then there were assembly by-elections. The government was completely new. Gujarat has been doing Vibrant Gujarat for last many years. He takes at least 9 months to prepare. We had only 4 months.
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that this is the beginning. Planning was done at many different levels regarding the summit.
Question: The government is going to be one year old, what is the biggest achievement in your view?
Rajyavardhana: There was an atmosphere of negativity in Rajasthan. The Congress government was repeatedly imprisoned in five-star hotels. We started working on it as soon as we arrived. There has been no paper leak in our time.
Jobs are being announced. In the very first year we have provided more than 70 thousand jobs. Our government signed an MoU to solve the water problem. Now PM Modi is also going to lay its foundation stone.
Question: Kirodilal Meena has raised questions on the working style of the police. Had to go to the police station for beating an army soldier, how do you see this?
Rajyavardhana: Look, there are definitely some habits which will take time to correct, but our intentions are absolutely clear. Police should maintain law and order firmly. For this, whatever arrangements are required by the police are being made. Cyber wing and intelligence wing are being strengthened.
In the very first year, we took some major decisions and formed the Anti Gangster Taskforce. We have arrested one or two famous gangsters from Italy. There is no political pressure on the police.
Rathore also talked about the decisions taken in the Gehlot government and said – those which have shortcomings have been stopped.
Question: The review of the work of the last 6 months of Gehlot government has not been completed. Is the decision stuck on many issues including new districts, SI recruitment?
Rajyavardhana: The work done by the previous government was done in 6 months. There has been a complete discussion on them. Many things we found correct have been cleared. Where we felt there were some shortcomings, it has been stopped.
A decision has been taken on the districts formed during the time of Gehlot government. First the assembly by-elections came, then there was the Rising Rajasthan Summit. All the work regarding that has been done. Only announcement is left.
There were many tricks in SI recruitment. Discussion is going on on that. Suggestions are being taken from everyone. A decision will be taken after careful consideration. Our intentions are absolutely clear. Will be surrounded in a completely legal manner, action will be taken after collecting all the evidence.
