Action in response to Pahalgam terror attack
After the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, tension between India and Pakistan has increased. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian armed forces on May 7 made accurate attacks on terrorist structures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Nine terrorist bases were targeted in Operation Sindoor launched by the Indian Army, which were successfully targeted. The Pakistan Armed Forces carried out several attacks using drones and other weapons on the entire western border on midnight of 08 and 09 May 2025. Pak soldiers also carried out several ceasefire violations (CFVs) along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The drone attacks were effectively thwarted and the CFV was given a befitting reply.
