Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has targeted Shahid Afridi. Dhawan has condemned Afridi’s statement in which the Pakistani cricketer blamed the Indian Army for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. 26 people were killed in this attack.
In a post written on social media, Shikhar Dhawan urged Afridi to stop the war of words and supported the Indian Army and said that everyone in the country is proud of the army’s efforts.
Dhawan’s response came a few days after Afridi made a peculiar remarks on a Pakistan television channel, alleging that the terrorist attack occurred in India due to security lapse.
The former Pakistani cricketer also criticized the media for the coverage of the incident and sought evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the terrorist attack from India.

Dhawan said in a post on X (East Twitter), “We had also defeated you in Kargil. You have already fallen so low. How much you will fall more? Instead of making useless comments, it is better that you use your mind for the progress of your country. We are very proud of our Indian Army. We are very proud of our Indian Army.
