Pahalgam terror attack: After the terrorist attack on Tuesday (22 April 2025) in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has taken strong action against Pakistan. India has taken many such steps, including ending the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, which has affected the entire Nagarik of Pakistan. According to sources, in the meantime, Pakistan has taken a big decision regarding air space.
Pakistan closed its air space
Pakistan has closed its air space for commercial flights coming from India. According to the Shahbaz government of Pakistan, now Indian flights will not be allowed to enter Pakistani Air Space. Pakistan is upset with India’s decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty and reduce diplomatic relations. Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif also called a high -level security meeting on Thursday (24 April 2025).
Pakistan Deputy PM Ishaq Dar while speaking to a private television channel late Wednesday night, told India’s action in a hurry. After returning from Jeddah after the Pahalgam attack, PM Narendra Modi’s aircraft did not pass through Pakistan airspace and chose another route. Earlier on Tuesday (22 April 2025), the PM’s aircraft passed through Pakistan airspace while going to Jeddah.
India has taken tough action against Pakistan
India took a strong message to Pakistan on Wednesday in view of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and made several decisions, including a comprehensive cut in diplomatic relations with it, postponing the Indus Water Treaty of more than six decades and closing the Attari post. By May 1, the total number of people posted in Pakistani and Indian High Commissions will be reduced from 55 to 30 through diplomatic relations by May 1.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian said that the CCS pledged that the criminals of the attack would be brought to justice and their sponsors would be held accountable. The Egyptian said that the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 would be postponed with immediate effect, until Pakistan reliably stops its support for cross -border terrorism.
