According to the statement, Munir emphasized that Pakistan wants peace in and outside the region, but if Pakistan’s sovereignty and regional integrity are violated, he will answer with full force to protect his national reputation and good to the people. According to the statement, the army chief said that terrorism does not know any religion, sect or race and should be combated with unbreakable national unity.
Government of India tough stance
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Government of India accused Pakistan. The Union Home Ministry has asked several states to organize a ‘mock drill’ on May 7 amidst increasing tension with Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. Official sources gave this information on Monday. Sources said that measures to be taken during the drill include the operation of sirens that warned of an airstrikes and training citizens on security aspects to protect themselves in the event of any attack. Other measures include measures of ‘blackout’ in the event of accidents, protecting important plants and establishments and providing provisions to update and rehearsed the withdrawal plans.
